And Then There Were Audiobooks

A New Option For Readers

My marketing team and I have been beavering away adding new product features for readers. Now, all my books are available as downloadable EPUBS through this website.

But Wait!

There's more! All but Stonehouse Cooks are now available as downloadable audiobooks. The books are in a zip file in which you'll be able to access MP3 files, which is the standard audio file format for audiobooks.

Why Purchase From Me?

Well, by doing that, if you're Canadian, you're keeping your Canadian dollars in Canada. And you're supporting an indie author quite considerably.

On the average audiobook sale through distribution channels like Amazon, Audible (owned by Amazon), Kobo, Google, and others, I get paid 10% of retail, and usually have to wait several months to get paid because a dollar threshold has to be reached before the distributor will issue an electronic payment. From a business point of view, I can understand that. But as a creator, I get a bit ticked, given the hours and often expense that has gone into producing a book in various formats.

And if you're purchasing a print book directly from me, there's an added bonus that I'll sign the copy for you, even dedicate it if you send me an email or note with your order.

The Voices for Audiobooks

Some of my audiobooks have been narrated by some very talented professionals.

  • Susan Iannucci narrated Shadow Song
  • Maria Campos narrated The Rose Guardian and Dreams of the Moon
  • Diana Majiinger narrated From Mountains of Ice, although I narrated the version on this website
  • The remainder were narrated by me

Feedback

As always, I welcome your honest queries and comments. If you're a spammer, hacker, or bot: GO AWAY! (As if that warning will do any good.)  If you're a real human being, with something to say that isn't rage bait, or trolling, by all means drop me a line.

And take a look at the new offerings.
